Welcome to the 2009 Tour de Summerlin non-competitive bike rides presented by Great Ride Productions
Now, in our 8th year, Tour de Summerlin has proven to be one of the best-organized and supported rides in the Southwest. With its scenic views, traffic control and post ride festivities, Tour de Summerlin is an experience you don’t want to miss!
The 2009 Tour de Summerlin will feature three (3) distances including our long course distance of 80 miles. Technical support and SAG will be provided throughout the ride and each aid station will provide water, sports drinks & energy bars. All registered participants will be treated to a catered lunch following the rides. This year’s event will start and finish at the Vistas Park in Summerlin.

Participants may also pre-register in person at McGhies Ski, Bike & Board; or by fax at 251-3101. On-line and fax pre-registration deadline is 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 12. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked no later than Friday, April 17 and should be mailed to Great Ride Productions, 697 Brandy Hill Place, Henderson, NV 89052. Late registration is available on the day of the ride, up to 30 minutes prior to the start of each ride. Riders may also late register at packet pickup. Late fees will apply.

PACKET PICKUP (Noon – 7:00 p.m.)
Packets must be picked up on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Mcghies Ski, Bike & Board’s new location 4035 South Fort Apache Rd, LV, NV 89147 from noon – 7:00 p.m.
EACH PARTICIPANT MUST BE PRESENT AT THE TIME OF PACKET PICK.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

EQUIPMENT
Mcghies Ski, Bike and Board carries all the latest brands of bikes, equipment and supplies. Additionally, their top-notch service department is available for tune-ups, service & safety checks to get you rolling for the Tour.
THIS IS NOT A RACE!
Law enforcement will be on hand to provide intersection control. Riders are responsible for obeying all vehicle traffic laws. Please be courteous to local drivers and traffic.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED
ANSI approved helmets are required must be worn at all times.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the ride by a parent or guardian.
AID STATIONS & SUPPORT
Manned rest stops providing water, sports drinks and snacks will be placed along each route. SAG vehicles will be provided on all routes.
